Subathon
A free subathon timer for Twitch
A countdown on stream that grows with every sub, gift, cheer, tip or follow. It runs on Switchbud’s side, so it keeps going even with OBS closed.
You set the rules
- How long it starts at
- How much a sub, a gift, 100 bits, a tip or a follow adds
- A limit in hours, so it can’t run forever
Run it
- On the Widgets screen, click Subathon timer under Add, and set your times.
- Copy the link under “Add to OBS” into a Browser source.
- Press Start when you go live. Pause it, or add or take away five minutes, from its settings.
Fake follows can’t run it up
A follower adds time once, and following again adds nothing. At most 20 follows a minute count, so a wave of bot follows can’t run the clock up. Test alerts show you the effect but never add real time.
Do tips from other sites count?
Yes. A tip from a service you connect, such as Ko-fi or StreamElements, adds the time you set for tips.
