Twitch alerts
Twitch alerts that look like your channel
Show a follow, sub, cheer, raid or tip on stream the moment it happens, in a style you pick and can change any time. Free, in your browser, with nothing to install.
What gets an alert
- New follows
- Subs, resubs with their message, and gifted subs
- Cheers (bits) and Power-ups
- Raids, with how many viewers are coming
- Channel point redemptions
- A hype train starting, watch streaks, shoutouts you receive and charity donations
- Tips from Ko-fi, StreamElements, Streamlabs, Tipeee, Buy Me a Coffee and more
- A heads-up before an ad break
Make them yours
Start from one of five looks (Classic, Lower third, Top banner, Neon or Minimal), then drag the text where you want it, add a GIF or a video and a sound, and use Freeze to line things up. A big cheer or a long-time sub can have a bigger version of its own. A pack restyles every alert to one look in a single click.
Set up in five minutes
- Sign in with Twitch. There is no new password.
- Open Alerts and copy the link under “Add to OBS”.
- In OBS, add a Browser source and paste the link.
- Press “Test in OBS”: a pretend follow plays on your stream.
Is it really free?
Yes. Alerts are part of the free plan, and nothing is a trial. Pro only raises how much you can keep, and some designer packs are premium: you can try those live first.
Does it work in Streamlabs Desktop?
Yes, in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, XSplit or anything with a browser source. A light in Switchbud turns green once your streaming app has opened the link.
